Vicky Bowman is a wife, mom, grandma, and retired elementary teacher who has lived in Mecosta County her entire life, and currently lives just outside of Big Rapids. She received her undergraduate degrees from Ferris State University, and graduate degrees from Grand Valley State University.

Although she has many hobbies, her true love is photography. During her teaching years she spent lots of time taking photos of her students and their families. Now that she’s retired she enjoys walking the local river trails with the hope of capturing wildlife in their natural surroundings.
