ARTHUR JOHNSON, ED.M.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Arthur has been a member of the Artworks team since 2021, contributing to donor engagement, education initiatives, and program development. He holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (along with a studio excellence award), and his work reflects a strong commitment to expanding access to meaningful arts and humanities experiences. Arthur also serves on the Ferris State University Alumni Association Board of Directors.
NATALIE ZASADIL, M.A.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Natalie joined the Artworks team in 2026, bringing years of non-profit experience with her, as well as a Master of Arts in Arts and Cultural Management & Museum Studies from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Grand Valley State University. Natalie is a Northern Michigan native, a crafter, and a gardener.
JOSHUA BRADY, MA
DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Josh arrived at Artworks in 2026. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Integrative Studies from Ferris State University, during the latter of which he volunteered with Artworks as a member of Ferris’ Drawn to Art club. Along with Artworks, Josh is an Adjunct Writing Center Specialist at Ferris State University, where he supports students in academic writing and research.
KIMBERLY SMITH, B.S.
ACCOUNTANT
Kim came to Artworks in 2021 after working in the Academic Support Center at Ferris State University. While working at FSU, she completed a degree in accounting. Kim spent her early years working as a chemist and as a middle school and high school teacher. Aside from Artworks, Kim also works at St. Peter’s and at Baker’s Management Services.
ROXANNE CULLEN, PH.D.
CURATOR
Roxanne is a past president of Artworks board of directors and volunteers in the gift shop and as curator. She has a doctorate in English from Bowling Green State University and has been employed as professor of English at Ferris State University since 1983 and currently coordinates the Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies.
