After retiring, Nancy moved to Petoskey to be closer to family. Finally having time to be creative, she started exploring different mediums and found herself inspired by the beauty of northern Michigan. She works with a variety of mediums, including fabric paint, clay, and upcycled objects. She enjoys learning new techniques, too. 

In her designs, she likes to include a variety of mediums. She spends time exploring in nature to find objects to use in her art. Her Spirit Ladies sculptures are inspired by the free flowing forms found in nature. “I like to think my artwork inspires the wisdom of nature and will provide serenity to all who shall welcome it into their homes,” she says.
