Jeff Wier

Jeff Wier is a self-taught photographer, originally from Grand Rapids and now living in Hudsonville. His goal as a photographer is to transport the viewer into the image. “I’m trying to convey the sense of wonderment, what lies beyond the path, the fog, that land mass? These are the things I wonder about when I am shooting them,” he says. “If I can get you to see and feel this then I have done my job as a photographer.” 

Jeff is also self-taught in wooden kayak building and wooden boat restoration, and his interest in the outdoors and learning new ways to be creative is apparent in all of his works.
