Patricia Thurston
jewelry
Pat grew up on a dairy farm in rural mid-Michigan enjoying streams and ponds, wildflowers and vegetables, farm animals and deer. Having a career in Dietetics and teaching at Michigan State University she retired in 2015. Art was always an important part of her life having taken design, drawing and watercolor classes at Lansing Community College and community classes in jewelry-making including working with sterling silver and copper, and beading. She uses the techniques learned from these classes coupled with original designs (from nature and her experiences) to create lovely quality jewelry, one of her passions.
