Join a group of camera enthusiasts every month on the third Tuesday from 6-7:30pm in Artworks’ lower level. BRCC is facilitated by Cathy Martin.


Brush strokes

Join other painters to create and share tips and tricks of your craft. Brush Strokes meets on the first Thursday of each month from 10am-Noon in Artworks’ Creative Education Center and is facilitated by Cheryl Gould.


Harmonicas plus

Harmonicas Plus is a local Big Rapids group of amateur musicians who play harmonicas, hammered dulcimer, banjo, guitar and melodica - and occasionally they break out in song! Bring an instrument and join in the music-making or just enjoy the entertainment. Harmonicas Plus meets every Tuesday from 9-10am in Artworks’ lower level and is facilitated by George Arndt.


Hook & needle

Join other knitters and needlepoint artists to create and share tips and tricks of your craft. Hook & Needle meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 1-4pm in Artworks’ main level and on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm in Artworks’ lower level. Hook & Needle is facilitated by Cathy Johnson.

Read the book and join the discussion! Novel Tea meets on the third Thursday of each month at 3pm in Artworks’ lower level and is facilitated by Barbara Ross.

    Told from the point of view of a dog who lives free in an urban park, his adventures and his goal of helping other animals.
