Artworks Road Trip: June 20 - Reed City Depot
Artworks Road Trip: June 20 - Reed City Depot
This summer, Artworks is bringing the arts to you!
Artworks is piloting a free summer art experience for children 7 to 13 years old and we are coming to you!
Led by Artworks’ After School Art instructors, the program fosters creative expression while promoting social connection and inclusion. Children will create an art project that is designed to grow their imagination while building their skills and confidence in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Kids will also receive a lunch that they will assemble on their own. Studies show making their own meals fosters a sense of capability and cultivates fine and gross motor skills in children.
Due to limited capacity, we ask that you only register your children for this location if you live in or within the surrounding area.
Because children will create the same art project at each session, please register your child for only one session.
Sessions are from 10am to 1pm.
The last day to register for this session is June 16.
Once you have successfully submitted a registration, you will receive an email confirmation.
This project is partially funded by grants from the Mecosta County Board of Commissioners and from the Rotary Club of Big Rapids.
