This one might get a little dusty! 

In this class you will explore the artform of chalk pastels while learning all you need to know to create a life-like portrait. Students will practice mark-making, shading, layering, and blending, and gain a better understanding of color-values to make your creation jump off the paper! 

No experience is needed! Prior to class, you’ll be asked to provide a ¾ angle photo of your preferred portrait subject. This will be copied to pastel paper for you to use as a template and work your color magic! All other supplies are provided.
